National Sun Yat-sen University is one of Taiwan’s leading research universities. Our research strengths span ocean science and underwater technology; 6G communications and silicon photonics; condensed matter physics, quantum materials, and quantum technology; AI, big data, and intelligent e-commerce; medicine; materials science; and international Sinology.
NSYSU is home to Asia’s only Aerosol Science Research Center. In 2022, the university established its College of Medicine to advance regional healthcare and medical research. We welcome outstanding scholars whose expertise aligns with these and related fields.

Qualifications
- Biology: Ph.D. with at least two years of postdoctoral research experience.
- Physics: Ph.D. in Physics or a related field and postdoctoral experience. Ability to teach in English is preferred.
- Mathematics: Effective communication with students and the ability to mentor and guide academic research.
- Chemistry: Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field. At least one year of postdoctoral experience is preferred. Fluency in English and the ability to lecture in English are required.
